About Me

Hi everyone! My name’s Scott, and I’m the creator of Nations and Empires and Mystic Mythics! I’ve worked on Nations and Empires in my free time over the course of two years, and I’m so happy it’s finally here, ready to be played by all of you!

To tell you a little bit about myself, I was born in France, but I’ve essentially lived in Florida my entire life. I’ve had a passion for history, science, and the arts ever since I was very young. I chose to pursue science academically, graduating with a degree in neuroscience a few years ago, while pursuing history recreationally, and channeling my passion and knowledge of history into things like this board game!

The roots of my hobbies and interests also extend deeply into videogames and board games, which I love just as much as I’m sure many of you here do. From competitive videogame tournaments and consistent achievement hunting to weekly board game nights with friends and TCG collections, games are and have always been a huge part of my life from a very young age. I believe you’ll find that my love and passion for games and history is reflected in Nations and Empires (as well as my other projects), as I’ve essentially created what I myself would’ve loved to see in a simple-yet-detailed historical board game.

I don’t want to ramble on, so to keep things short, I just want to finish this off by thanking you so much for taking the time to check out my game. It means more to me than you know. :)
